«Shalyapin Palace» hotel is located in central Bauman pedestrian street, near to the Epiphany cathedral where on the 2nd of February in 1873 F.Shalyapin was christened.
Citizens of Kazan are proud that their city is Shalyapin's native land which about he remembered all his life. In 2000 to the 125 anniversary from the date of birth of the great singer, just at the entry to the hotel the first-ever monument to Shalyapin was opened in Kazan.
«Shalyapin Palace Hotel» opened the doors after the reconstruction in August 2005 on the threshold of thousand anniversary of Kazan. By its corner location in the quarter and also by its bright, unforgettable original shape the monument forms not only an image of the main pedestrian street of the city, but also all central historical area.
The convenient place of the hotel in the very city centre allows reaching many objects of cultural – national designation of capital during short time.
