In the city

Kazan is considered as one of the safest cities in the world, and confirmed it not once. During the 1000 anniversary celebrating more than 30 thousand visitors and tourists from 40 countries visited Kazan. In 2006 the summit of special services of the world passed in Kazan. The participants of the summit have noted «the experience of carrying out of various events has shown, that the highest level of safety can be guaranteed in Kazan».


In buildings

The organization of safety system in all large trading, sports, entertaining and business centers is on a high level, they are protected by law enforcement bodies round the clock. The system of positioning of patrol squads and video-monitoring is used to prevent acts of terrorism. Visitors pass through the security stations equipped with standard metal detectors.

In public places

Dog specialists with dogs trained to find explosives examine the places of mass walks, festivals, concerts, and also sports competitions and the territory adjoining to them.
Officers of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan, federal security service, the private security enterprises are involved for each large-scale event in Kazan. If necessary specially trained volunteers from student's security services in distinctive equipment are involved for maintenance of public safety in a city.


On roads

A special program of safety of the road traffic, which purpose is the maintenance of protection of life and health of citizens, and the increase of their legitimate rights for safe conditions of traffic on the roads of the Republic of Tatarstan operates in Kazan.
