The Tatar state opera and ballet theatre is getting ready to XXX Shalyapin International Opera festival.

This year the festival will start with “Evgene Onegin” by Peter Tchaikovsky - the opera, which is considered to be the most popular Russian opera.

XXX Shalyapin International Opera Festival will be held in Kazan on February, 1 – 17, 2012. The stage of the Tatar state opera and ballet theatre will host more than 50 participants – opera singers and conductors from Russia, Europe and USA.
